It slightly favors LHW, though only slightly. It carries the Jan 23 83 stamping on the sliding grease cap and the model "3 1 2" is stamped into the underside of the foot near the porting hole. It has the nicely sculptured nickel silver pillars and the iconic S shaped handle that one associates with Edward vom Hofe. This

This is an excellent weight and length for a first bamboo rod that will be the most versatile and will also show off the qualities of bamboo

The clear plastic covering remains on the bottom of the butt cap for protection against scratches
