Hardy Lightweight Fly ReelA Hardy Lightweight fly reel, 3 3 16" diameter and currently set up for RHW though easily convertible. Two screw model. This is an unusual model made with a solid unventilated spool, which I don't believe I have seen before (An early version from Hardy?). The location of the pillars is also unusual, boasting four rather than three and having them located approximately at the 8: 30, 10: 30, 1, and 3 positions. Near mint condition with a few trace marks
The rod oddly features spinning rod-style line guides
The main wraps are a light golden brown with extra edges of black
7 1/2 feet for a 5 weight line
and the ferrule oxidation is a bit blotchy
No line burns on frame or pillar
Guns and associated accessories comprise the first 46 pages
