Georg Lundwall White-Faced Glider ReelA rare Georg Lundwall "White Faced Glider Click Reel", 2 3 4" diameter with a neutral bias drag. George makes these bench made reels from his workshop in Sweden, and I've only seen a few of them stateside. This one is mint and unused. It weighs 6. 2 ounces on my scale. Classic all aluminum Vom Hofe style reel with aluminum rims, sideplates, spool, and foot, polished stainless steel handle arm, pillars, and screws. The sideplates have a matte finish
Nickel silver down-locking reel seat over a cedar spacer
The titanium series is seawater resistant and has a lifelong guarantee against seawater damage
They were made in sequence of order date so the serial numbers were not made in sequence
The nut turns freely
The swelled butt provides a good amount of backbone while the thin tips allow for considerable finesse and delicacy
