Payne 202 Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 3/2 #5/6A very nice EF Payne model 202 bamboo fly rod, 8', 3 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #5 6. The rod weighs 4. 3 ounces. Excellent original condition. The rod has seen very little use. There are some casting cracks to the ferrule wraps and a wee bit of brassing in the guides. The oxidation to the butt cap and ferrules is 100%. This rod has the quick dry fly feel I more often find in the two piece rods with screw lock seats. Its very challenging to exactly
