Hardy Perfect Fly Reel 3 1/2"A nice Hardy Perfect wide drum salmon reel, 3 1 2" and set up for the typical RHW. An early leaded finish reel in good overall condition. Normal cosmetic wear throughout, with some loss of the finish in places and there is a moderate line groove on the corner of the crossbar in one place and there is a tiny bit of play to the spool though it's pretty minimal. Duplicated Mark II check with oversize pawls and the click is nice and smooth. Full length

Only 99 were made and each is sequentially numbered

The rod was intended to be 7' though there was a measuring mistake at the Leonard factory and it ended up being 6'10"

The rod features moderately tempered cane with burgundy wraps and black tipping at the winding check

Varnish is a bit soft with one tip section showing some bag marks
