1980's Fender (by Maxon Japan) FDS-90 Distortion Vintage Effects PedalThe Fender FDS 90 was a re badged Maxon SD 01 produced in Japan in the 1980's. The Maxon SD 01 Sonic Distortion uses the same JRC4558D as the original 808 Tubescreamer, although these have higher gain and more clarity, less compression, and less midrange than the classic 808 or OD 9. Loaded with the original VH-2 humbuckers controlled by two volume controls and a master tone knob along with the original Head Crasher tremolo system
