For sale here is a wonderful example of a Julius Vom Hofe german silver / ebonite fly reel with raised pillars

One of the springs inside was slightly raised above its normal position on the pawl and the result is some rub marks where the spring edge was impacting the surface of the inner spool

The only signs of use I could find were one minor corner ding and two almost microscopic pits - this reel is in excellent shape overall

The seat does show some wear in the form of minor nicks and scratches

though I will happily make a pair to fit for an extra $50
