1980's Hohner B2 Headless Paddle Bass Guitar w/Steinberger SystemThe infamous "Paddle Bass" from Hohner, made in Japan in the late 1980's. This is the "B2" model with passive electronics (two bass humbuckers, volume, tone and pickup balance). Set neck construction with the flip out leg rest for seated playing, weighs just over 3kg's. This one's been modified with a Schaller bass humbucker in the bridge position and an amateur scallop job from the 13th fret onward. Plays well as it sits or throw some new strings on

Action at the 12th fret is just under 3mm and it plays very nicely with barely any signs of wear to the frets

these wear a blackout finish with gold hardware and mirror-gold pickguard and are loaded with a pair of "Dry 1982" humbuckers (although the bridge pickup on this one was replaced with a vintage Gotoh humbucker)

The refinished body is in mint condition and overall the rest of the guitar is in reasonable vintage condition with basic wear and tear
