1999 Washburn WI-64 Single Cutaway (Cherry Red)

1999 Washburn WI-64 Single Cutaway (Cherry Red)Made in Korea in 1999, the WI 64's are a simple pleasure built with a mahogany body, set mahogany neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length). Seems to be all original with Grover tuners, Washburn WB630 humbuckers, wired to a 3 way selector, bridge volume, bridge Voice Contour Control, neck volume and a neck Voice Contour Control. Weighs 3kg's. Good used condition as pictured, serviced and restrung prior to listing so it's good to go!

Great condition with only light signs of use

Listed in some catalogs as an IGB-60 (although some feature the ASB mark on the truss cover)

no movement at all and is purely cosmetic

Frets are shiny and have plenty of life with some pitting

Rate  knob has been replaced with a 500k pot to give more control over the slower rates

This one dates to 1987 and is built with a basswood body bolted to a maple neck that's fully scalloped from the 12th fret onwards

the BSOM was a more modern design from the Bill Lawrence range with a PF Stroh tremolo system

Loaded with the standard L-2000 electronics loadout featuring Vol

The neck is straight and the truss adjusts as it should with a straight

so it's closer in feel to nitrocellulose than anything without the inconsistencies
