1985 Squier Japan ST314-60 Contemporary Series Medium Scale Stratocaster (Candy Apple Red)Made in Japan as part of the Fender Boxer Series of the mid 1980's, this was an "Order Made" version of the ST314 HSS Stratocaster that was ordered and built to a customer's exact specs by the Fujigen equivalent of the Fender Custom Shop. With a 628mm scale length and medium jumbo frets, it was designed to bridge the gap between Stratocaster and Les Paul to give Gibson tones and feel from a Fender body. Honest condition for a 60 year old guitar with checking to the nitro and some wear and tear from loving use

Part of the fretboard appears to have been partial reglued

Pretty clean for it's age with only a few small signs of wear and some light clouding to the vintage white finish

Made in China in 2008 and designed to replicate the '58 Explorer on a budget
