2009 Ibanez Japan RG2520ZE Prestige Superstrat w/EMG's (Red)The RG2520ZE is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2009. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line. The RG2520ZE features a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24 fret bound rosewood fingerboard with wedge (or ghost) sharktooth position markers. Components include dual EMG 81 85 active humbuckers, an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge and Gotoh tuning machines.

it's suited for heavier style and sounds really strong through a nice loud amp with the capacity to clean up nicely

Made in Japan by ESP and distributed by "Made Company" in around 1987 (based on the pot codes and the overall specs/style of the guitar and stamps)

Frets are lightly used and were polished

the SL700 was one of their high end Les Paul Custom models

plenty of bottom and topp-end clarity and definition

this appears to be a Japanese domestic market model that shares a lot of similarities to the N7 model sold in the UK

Made by the Fujigen factory in late 1988

bass boost/cut and treble boost/cut knobs (treble knob seems to have little effect on the signal though)

it's strung with some flatwounds and has the perfect "pop"
