These are the boutique style range from the Kawai factory (in collaboration with Schaller) that were made in Japan in the 80's and 90's. This incredibly cool "Thumb" style guitar was made in 1985 (based off the pot dates and the Head Crasher tremolo) and features what appears to be a white ash body with a hard maple
