Adopt KarenKaren was rescued by the Beluga Whale Sanctuary in 2013 as a puffling suffering from a hip injury. Because of this she has difficulties walking but she is a very capable swimmer and spends most of her time in the pool, and was the first one to test it out when they arrived at Puffin Island. Unfortunately, her hip injury has now progressed to arthritis, causing her to have a permanent limp, so she can often be seen flapping her wings when walking for

lethargy and had lacerations on the left side of her body

Billie's playful spirit remains undaunted by her eye injury

she may be small in stature but she’s big on personality

She gradually started to gain weight and got stronger with time however
