this is very exciting to drink

then macerated in a wooden vat for five days before being pressed by

this drinks more like a light red than a rose

with high-toned red and blue fruit aromatics backed by a deliciously energetic palate of ripe cherry

Fermented and aged in concrete with a mere 10ppm of sulfur added

a stunning part of coastal Croatia protected by UNESCO

not heavy but still textured with great acidity

The vines were planted in the 1950s with a major part of Pinot Blanc but you can find mixed in between some Chardonnay and Chasselas vines too

A touch of smoke and earthy spice keeps it savory and layered
