Sierra Negra was produced by Maestra Mezcalera Karina Abad at Los Danzantes in Matatlan, from agaves grown for 10 years at 900 metres of elevation in San Juan Lajarcia, Yautepec, Oaxaca in sandy, eroded limestone soils.
