The AK 1400 was conceived after Kiss toured Japan in 1978, where Frehley visited a Music Land store and was gifted a prototype Flying V model to use on stage. It appears to be all original except for a new battery clip

the truss rod works well and the neck is straight

Good used condition as pictured with a few small cosmetic bumps and dings (one notable chip on the horn as pictured)

Looks to be all original with custom fabricated hardware and single coil pickups made specifically for this model including a bridge mute

Basswood/birch body bolted to a maple neck with a 21 fret fingerboard (41mm nut)

Gloss Black finish on a mahogany body with a slim 60's style neck profile and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard
